Tom’s friend Dennis Littky is the co-founder of the Met School in Providence, Rhode Island, where the philosophy is to teach one child at a time. He’s also co-director of the Big Picture Company, a national non-profit working to support a fundamental redesign of secondary education by starting and sustaining small schools nation-wide.
